Free Random Pokémon Generator
Use this Random Pokémon Generator to instantly pick regular Pokémon or random Pokémon Infinite Fusion combinations. You can generate from 1 to 12 results at once, making it useful for choosing a random starter, building a surprise team, creating a Nuzlocke challenge, or finding an unexpected fusion to try.
Every result includes the Pokémon sprite, typing and base stats. In Infinite Fusion mode, the generator also combines a random head and body using the game’s fusion rules and can display available community-made custom sprites.
- Base Pokémon mode: randomly chooses regular Pokémon available in Pokémon Infinite Fusion.
- Infinite Fusion mode: creates random head-and-body fusion combinations with fused typing and stats.
- Useful filters: narrow results by type, base stat total and evolution stage.
- Lock and reroll: keep the Pokémon you like while replacing the rest.
- Multiple results: generate 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 or 12 Pokémon at once.
How to Use the Random Pokémon Generator
- Choose a mode. Select Base Pokémon for regular Pokémon or Infinite Fusion Pokémon for random fusion combinations.
- Select how many Pokémon to generate. You can roll between 1 and 12 results at a time.
- Set optional filters. Choose a type, a base stat total range or an evolution stage.
- Press Generate. The tool instantly creates a new random selection.
- Lock favourites. Lock any result you want to keep, then generate again to reroll only the unlocked cards.
You can also use the console-style controls: left and right switch between base and fusion modes, up and down change the number of results, A generates a new roll, and B unlocks all cards.
Random Pokémon Infinite Fusion Generator
Infinite Fusion mode works as a random Pokémon fusion generator. It selects one Pokémon as the head and another as the body, then calculates the fusion’s typing and stats according to Pokémon Infinite Fusion rules.
With Custom sprite only enabled, the generator limits results to combinations that have a community-made fusion sprite. Disable it to allow any valid head-and-body pairing, including combinations that may use generated artwork. If a fusion has alternate custom sprites, you can enable Random sprite variant to randomly choose among them.
Fusion filters apply to the finished fusion rather than only to the parent Pokémon. For example, a type filter checks the fusion’s resulting typing, while the strength filter checks its combined base stat total.
Filter Random Pokémon by Type, Stats and Evolution
The generator can be completely random, or you can narrow the pool before rolling. This makes it easier to create themed teams and challenges without manually searching through hundreds of Pokémon.
- Type: generate Pokémon that match a selected type.
- Base stat total: choose weaker, mid-range, strong or 600+ BST results.
- Evolution stage: limit results to fully evolved or not fully evolved Pokémon.
- No duplicates: prevent the same Pokémon or fusion from appearing twice in one roll.
Ways to Use a Random Pokémon Generator
- Random starter picker: choose a starter without deciding manually.
- Random Pokémon team generator: roll six Pokémon for a full surprise party.
- Nuzlocke and challenge runs: use random results to create extra rules or restrictions.
- Infinite Fusion challenges: generate six random fusions and build a team around them.
- Art prompts: generate unusual fusion combinations to draw or redesign.
- Friendly competitions: let each player generate a random team and compare the results.
After finding a Pokémon or fusion you like, use the Pokémon Infinite Fusion Calculator to inspect combinations, build a complete party with the Pokémon Infinite Fusion Team Builder, browse artwork in the fusion sprite gallery, or check matchups with the Pokémon weakness calculator.
Random Pokémon Generator FAQ
What is a Random Pokémon Generator?
A Random Pokémon Generator is a tool that chooses Pokémon for you at random. This generator can select regular base Pokémon or Pokémon Infinite Fusion combinations and shows their sprites, types and base stats.
Can this generate random Pokémon Infinite Fusion combinations?
Yes. Select Infinite Fusion Pokémon mode and the tool will randomly choose a head and body, calculate the resulting fusion’s typing and stats, and show a custom fusion sprite when one is available.
Can I generate a random Pokémon team?
Yes. Set the result count to six to use the tool as a random Pokémon team generator. You can keep the team completely random or apply type, strength and evolution filters first.
Can I generate only a certain Pokémon type?
Yes. Choose a type from the Type filter before generating. In base mode the filter applies to the selected Pokémon, while in fusion mode it applies to the resulting fusion’s typing.
How do I keep one Pokémon and reroll the others?
Press Lock on any result you want to keep. When you generate again, locked cards remain and only the unlocked cards are replaced. You can also reroll an individual card.
Does the generator allow duplicate Pokémon?
Duplicates are disabled by default. Turn off the No duplicates option if you want the same Pokémon or fusion to be able to appear more than once in the same roll.
